General FAQs

How does Blue Box Bins work?

You pick a bin package, we deliver to your home/apartment/office, you pack and move, then we come back and pick up on your scheduled date. No buying boxes, no tape, no post-move trash.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Oklahoma City metro within a 20-mile radius. Outside that, we can usually deliver/ pickup for an additional fee—just contact us.

What size are the bins?

Our standard bin is about 27″ x 17″ x 12.5″. It’s the size most moving-crate companies use and it’s big enough for kitchen items, clothes, and household goods.

Are the bins clean?

Yes. Every bin is cleaned and sanitized between rentals.

Delivery, Pickup & Scheduling

Do I have to be home for delivery or pickup?

We prefer someone 18+ is present, but we can do a porch/garage drop with your permission. Just tell us where to leave the bins. If no one is available, delivery and acceptance is implied.

Is delivery included?

Yes, delivery and pickup are included inside the 20-mile OKC service area. Outside that radius may have an extra charge.

Can I pick up the bins myself?

Yes. We offer a pickup-and-save option for packages. They option is available at checkout. You come to us, load the bins, and return them to us when you’re done.

Pricing, Extensions & Add-ons

How long is the rental for?

Standard rentals are 1 week (7 days). If you need more time you select extra days or extend out another week if you feel you will need more time.

Do you offer moving supplies?

Yes. You can add packing paper, bubble wrap, 2-wheel dollies, garment bags and moving blankets (when in stock). Consumables are billed; rental items are returned with your bins.

Do you deliver up flights of stairs?

Yes, we will deliver up to 3 flights of stairs, but there is an extra deliver charge associated with delivering up flights of stairs. Our extra charge per flight of stairs is $15, so 3 flights would add $45 to your order. You can opt to have the bins delivered to the ground floor and not incur the extra delivery costs.

Can I keep the bins longer?

Yes. If you are into your move and see you are going to need more time, you can add days at $0.65 per bin per day. You must let us know before your scheduled pickup day or you could face late charges or missed pickup fees.

What if I need more bins than I ordered?

If we have inventory available, we can add more bins and deliver delivery them to you. Extra bins are billed at the same rate for your package. The minimum add on for delivery is 10 bins plus a delivery fee. If you think you might need extras, it is always cheaper to order a larger package or add bins at the time of checkout. We also have the option for you to pick up the extra ins at our location.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. All rentals are pre-paid online at booking and a card may be kept on file for late returns or damages.

Damage, Loss & Cancellations

What if I lose or damage a bin?

Missing, not returned or damaged bins are billed at $25 per bin

What if I need to cancel?

48+ hours before delivery: no charge

Inside 48 hours: 20% cancellation fee

Day-of / refused delivery: $99 restocking fee

What if I’m not ready when you arrive to pick up?

It’s best to let us know in advance then we can reschedule the pickup and bill you $0.65/bin/day. If we don’t know in advance there will be a $50 late fee, plus the extra days will be billed at $0.65/bin/day.

Apartment / Praoperty Manager FAQs

Can we rent a set of bins for residents to use for move-ins?

Yes. We offer apartment complex programs starting at 100 bins up to as many as you need to service your move-ins. This is ideal for communities that want to offer moving help as an amenity.

What if we don’t want to stock the bins but still want the service available to our residents? I need to cancel?

We have a couple of programs just depending on your end goals. Our most popular is our referral program which rewards you for every resident you refer to us. This program rewards you and also gives your new resident a discount for using our services. We issue you your own coupon code which tracks your complex’s referrals. Contact us for more details

Who schedules the deliveries to the resident?

This program is an apartment complex managed program. You keep the bins on-site and loan them out to your new residents moving in. You can determine the number each move is given, we find the average number of bins for apartment moves is 25.

Do you pick up and re-clean the bins each month?

Yes. Program pricing includes initial drop + 1 monthly service visit for cleaning/rotation. During that service visit we will give you fresh, clean totes based on your program. Any damaged or missing totes will be billed based on your program specifics.

What happens if a resident doesn’t return a bin?

Missing or damaged bins are billed at the amount determined in our agreement, but the standard replacement rate is $25/bin. Most apartments pass that through to the resident or deduct from the deposit.
